A global Tier 1 automotive manufacturer is looking for a Tooling Engineer (Die Maintenance Technician) to join their team at their impressive site in Telford. The ideal candidate will be a hard‑working and adaptable Toolmaker/Tooling Engineer with a strong technical background within a fast‑paced press or mould environment. Operating in a fast‑paced facility, you will report to the Assistant Manager in the Jig, Die and Tool section and provide routine maintenance, assembly and disassembly to press and injection mould tools.

This is a fantastic opportunity with a multinational automotive company that supplies to some of the biggest OEMs in the industry.

• Assemble and disassemble new tools, moulds, dies, and fixtures to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Modify, maintain and repair existing tooling to maintain production efficiency.
• Carry out inspections to ensure components meet tight tolerances.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to improve tool performance and longevity.
• Maintain accurate records of work carried out and materials used.

• Proven experience in a similar maintenance engineering role within fast‑paced manufacturing environments such as automotive.
• Strong knowledge of both electrical and mechanical systems.
• Willingness to work double‑day shifts.
• Experience on mould and/or press tools.
