Multi Skilled Engineering Technician

Shift Pattern – 4 on 4 off shift pattern: 7-7 (days & nights)

Salary – £55,620 per annum plus paid overtime at 1.5x

Signing bonus – £5,000 payable after passing probation

Müller Yogurt & Desserts is the UK’s leading yogurt manufacturer responsible for major brands like Müllerlight, Müller Corner, and Müller Rice. It produces chilled desserts under licence from Mondelez International and supplies the UK private‑label yogurt market from a state‑of‑the‑art facility.

Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for reactive maintenance as well as conducting planned maintenance activities where required.

Ideal Candidate
Possesses a time‑served apprenticeship/HNC qualification with prior experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably in food or beverages.

• Experience working in a multi‑skilled department maintaining fast‑moving, complex manufacturing or logistics environment
• Experience in mechanical and electrical engineering within manufacturing, production, and process environments
• Apprentice training with proven experience on fast‑moving machinery, pumps, valves, and PLCs
• Good knowledge of filling and process technology
• Strong problem‑solving and root‑cause analysis skills
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance techniques
• Team‑building skills and ability to work cross‑functionally
