Mobile Fitter

About the Role

Mobile Fitters are needed in Telford, Shropshire to join a well‑established vehicle conversion manufacturing business. The role involves installing aftermarket products onto vehicles across the country to an excellent standard while providing superior customer service.

• Working hours:
  
  Day shifts Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week
• Pay: £13.00 – £13.50 per hour (annual salary around £30 000), with overtime available at a premium rate after probation
• Vehicle:
  Full UK driving licence required; overnight stays may be required from time to time
• Permanent contract after probation; 22 days holiday plus 8 statutory days, early finish on Fridays, contributory pension scheme

• Install aftermarket accessories onto vehicles
• Ensure the quality and safety of the products installed
• Follow customer requirements and specifications
• Adhere to the policies and procedures of customers while on their site
• Perform checks on the vehicles
• Keep the vehicle clean and tidy
• Communicate any issues while on site to the mobile supervisor
• Report any complaints

• Full UK driving licence
• Proven experience within a manufacturing or assembly environment
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• A proactive attitude and a keen eye for detail
• A passion for working with vehicles or a willingness to learn in this area
