The Role
A well-established manufacturing organisation is recruiting a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer for its Telford site. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will provide day-to-day electrical and mechanical support to ensure plant, equipment, and installations operate safely, efficiently, and in line with quality requirements.
What will you be doing

* Delivering reactive and planned maintenance across a busy manufacturing environment

* Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime

* Maintaining and improving planned and preventative maintenance schedules

* Logging all maintenance activity accurately on the maintenance management system

* Liaising with manufacturing teams to support operational priorities

* Ensuring all maintenance activities comply with health, safety, and site procedures

* Identifying root causes of failures and supporting continuous improvement initiatives

* Actively developing your skills and knowledge in line with legislation and best practice
What will you bring to the party

* Relevant electrical and mechanical engineering qualifications (essential)

* Experience working as a multiskilled maintenance engineer in manufacturing or production

* Strong problem-solving and fault-finding capability

* High attention to detail with accurate documentation skills

* A proactive, team-focused approach with the confidence to work on your own initiative
