CNC Machinist - Double Days
Responsibilities- Online Programming & operating of CNC machinery
- Selection of tooling and set up
- Cutter and holders - Selection and set up of work piece holding devices
- Set up fixtures/vices/clamping systems - Interpret engineering drawings to determine machining requirements
- Monitoring of machines performance, making adjustments to program data (Speeds, Feeds etc)
- In process and Post process inspection using both visual and precision measuring tool methods
- Operation of Heidenhain /Fanuc CNC Control systems
- Create components within specification to engineering drawings
- Work with programming team to feedback information for machining programme efficiency improvements
- Support in all aspects of Fixture assembly cell manufacturing
The successful candidate should have a minimum of an Apprenticeship and 3 axis CNC experience.
