Credit Control Team Leader

What you'll do.

As a member of the Credit Control Team, you will lead a team of Credit Controllers to deliver a great customer and client experience. You will ensure all dealings with client accounts are based on ‘Treating Customers Fairly' (TCF).

You’ll also:

• Overseeing regular customer verification checks to maintain our security
• Workload planning, distribution and resource deployment
• Communicate daily with team in order to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency, providing key information or briefing, as well as generating ideas and responding to change
• Working closely with stakeholders, including the Credit Manager and leading on the implementation and improvement of processes and procedures, to ensure the continued success of the team

What you’ll bring.

You will have strong people management skills and ideally a credit control background. You will be familiar with account management and be confident enough to make suggestions and look at ways where improvements could be made

You’ll be a great fit if you

• Are able to make sound decisions
• Have a collaborative working approach
• Are a great communicator- you will be dealing with many different people from customers to stakeholders and senior management,often at the same time
• Have worked with operating systems and proficiency in Microsoft office
• Have knowledge of managing debtor legal cases
