As a Supply Chain Administrator, you’ll be instrumental in supporting procurement activities across both production and non-production areas, including materials, components, and services. This dynamic role involves direct interaction with suppliers, managing inventory levels, tracking orders, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. You’ll also oversee outsourced processes and orders, contributing to the smooth operation of the supply chain. Working closely with the Supply Chain Manager and wider team, you’ll help maintain efficient and effective procurement workflows.

Responsibilities
  • Raise and manage approved purchase orders in line with ERP approval processes.
  • Track and expedite orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any delays.
  • Prepare goods inbound notifications ahead of warehouse arrivals.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and support the Buying team with material data.
  • Liaise with suppliers to resolve order and invoice issues.
  • Process and approve invoices outside pricing tolerances.
  • Update purchase order, shipment, and inventory details.
  • Coordinate with production and warehousing for smooth operations.
  • Manage internal stock transfers and optimise multi-location inventory levels.
Skills and experience required
  • Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain administration-based role.
  • Strong understanding of order management and supplier coordination.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and purchase order workflows.
  • Experience managing stock transfers and multi-location inventory.
  • Ability to resolve invoice discrepancies and maintain accurate records.
  • Skilled in communicating with internal departments and external suppliers.
  • Knowledge of inventory tracking and data entry processes.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
