Solicitor:
Children's Safeguarding
We are Telford & Wrekin Council, seeking a qualified solicitor with practising rights in the UK to join our Lexcel‑accredited Legal Team on a one‑year fixed‑term contract. You will support child safeguarding efforts across the council.
Responsibilities- Provide legal advice, assistance and support to council officers, elected members, and external clients.
- Contribute to safeguarding initiatives, ensuring best practice for our most vulnerable residents.
- Qualified solicitor with practising rights in the UK.
- Experience or interest in children’s safeguarding (expected).
- Competitive salary and a leave package starting at 24 days, rising to 32 days with service, plus 8 bank holidays and an extra concessionary day.
