We at Coforge are hiring a highly accomplished Senior Delivery Leader to head large‑scale Quality Assurance & Testing (QAT) engagements for our strategic client environment. This is a senior‑most leadership position, responsible for driving quality outcomes across a 200‑member test organisation.

Job Description

The Vice President – QAT Delivery serves as the senior‑most delivery authority responsible for end‑to‑end governance, quality assurance, and delivery of all testing services for the client.

This role ensures strict compliance with organisational testing standards, client policies, and multi‑supplier governance frameworks.

The position drives a risk‑based Quality Engineering (QE) approach and ensures consistent, compliant, and value‑driven testing across the enterprise landscape.

Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Test Leadership & Governance
  • Lead end‑to‑end delivery of all Lot‑based testing services
  • Ensure adherence to client policies, testing standards, and QE governance
  • Provide independent assurance on readiness, risks, and mitigation actions
2. Delivery Ownership & Quality Assurance
  • Oversee planning, execution, and sign‑off across all test phases (Unit → OAT)
  • Enforce acceptance criteria, entry/exit gates, and quality standards
  • Drive resolution of defects, environment issues, and test data challenges
3. Multi‑Party Coordination
  • Coordinate cross‑functional delivery across internal teams and multiple vendors
  • Lead defect triage, governance forums, and release readiness checkpoints
4. Quality Engineering & Automation
  • Implement QE practices including CI/CD enablement and shift‑left testing
  • Expand automation across functional, non‑functional, and regression areas
5. Compliance & Security
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR, SCR protocols, security policies, and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.2 AA)
  • Maintain robust risk‑based testing controls and audit readiness
6. Stakeholder Management & Reporting
  • Act as the key interface for client leadership, architecture, security, and delivery teams
  • Provide dashboards, metrics, quality reports, risk summaries, and readiness decisions
7. People Leadership
  • Manage test managers, leads, analysts, and automation engineers
  • Drive capability building, performance management, and competency development
  • Foster a high‑performance culture
8. Commercial & Contractual Management
  • Ensure SLA/KPI adherence and delivery governance
  • Identify cost optimisation and continuous value improvement opportunities
Skills & Experience
  • 25+ years of enterprise‑scale test delivery leadership
  • Proven experience managing large teams in multi‑vendor, complex programme environments
  • Deep understanding of Agile, Waterfall, ITIL4, and ISO/IEC/IEEE 29119 testing standards
  • Strong Quality Engineering and automation background with CI/CD‑driven delivery
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and decision‑making capabilities
  • Experience delivering high‑quality outcomes in regulated, high‑pre
