This hybrid role offers a great balance of home and office working. You’ll join your colleagues in our Milton Keynes office 2 to 3 days a week.

Joining us as a Data Solution ArchitectAt City Fibre we are building the UK’s finest digital infrastructure. Our Data & Architecture team plays a vital role in shaping how we use data to drive innovation and performance. As a Data Solution Architect, you’ll design and deliver scalable, future‑ready data platforms that support mission‑critical operations. You’ll work closely with Enterprise Architects, technical leads and stakeholders across the business to create solutions that are robust, secure and aligned with our strategic goals.
You’ll receive a salary of up to £75,000, a performance‑related bonus and a range of benefits that support your financial, physical and mental wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities- Design data solution blueprints, pipelines and integration frameworks across cloud platforms such as AWS and Snowflake.
- Lead architectural decisions and influence technical direction across multiple programs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to resolve conflicting technical opinions and agree on the best approach.
- Create data flows and transformation logic to harmonise inputs from multiple systems.
- Apply frameworks such as TOGAF or TM Forum to ensure governance and best practice.
- Ensure operational stability and cost efficiency in all data solutions.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS data services and Snowflake.
- Proven ability to design and deliver ETL/ELT pipelines and orchestrated workflows.
- Experience in the telecommunications industry and familiarity with OSS/BSS data.
- Strong coding skills in Python, Spark or similar technologies.
- Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts on technical direction and build consensus among stakeholders.
- Leadership experience in architectural decision‑making and ambition to grow into broader strategic roles.
