Your new role
Are you a technically strong accountant looking to make your mark in industry? Our client, a dynamic and fast-growing business based in Shropshire, is seeking a talented Senior Management Accountant/ Financial Controller to lead their finance function and support strategic decision-making.
As Financial Controller, you'll be responsible for:

• Leading the day-to-day finance operations, including month-end and year-end processes
• Driving technical accounting standards and compliance
• Preparing insightful financial reports and analysis for senior leadership
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
• Managing relationships with auditors and external stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed

We're looking for someone with:

• ACA/ACCA qualification (or equivalent)
• Strong technical accounting skills
• Ideally, a first or second mover from practice, ready to take ownership in industry
• A proactive mindset
• Excellent communication skills and commercial awareness
