We are seeking a trainee graduate Lighting Designer on behalf of a client based in Stafford Park. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced lighting solutions for a variety of projects, ensuring optimal system performance and aesthetic appeal. This role will involve undertaking training courses to develop skills in electrical engineering, system design, and mechanical knowledge, with proficiency in CAD software and programming languages.
The ideal applicant will have a desire and ability to learn and develop through a continuous improvement mindset and demonstrate a personal commitment to improving own knowledge and skills through leaning.
Responsibilities
* Design and develop comprehensive lighting systems using AutoCAD & Relux.
* Create detailed schematics and electrical diagrams aligned with project specifications.
* Implement system design solutions incorporating programmable logic controllers.
* Analyse system performance using signal processing techniques and refine designs accordingly.
* Prepare technical documentation including schematics, technical reports, and design specifications.
* Stay abreast of emerging technologies in electrical engineering and surface mount technology to enhance design quality through a continuous training program.

Qualifications
* Experience / knowledge of electrical engineering and CAD software is advantageous.
* The ability to effectively use computer hardware and software, to perform tasks and solve problems.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* A recognised qualification in electrical engineering or related discipline is preferred but not essential
