WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORRBSL is offering a Manufacturing Engineering Apprenticeship to join our growing Early Careers community at our headquarters in Telford. RBSL is a growing and exciting business that specialises in the design, manufacture and support of military vehicles used by the British Army that has a growing and dynamic Early Careers programme.

Expected apprenticeship duration 48 Months Possible start date:
Sept 2026

Level 4

Interview Date: tbcPay: £22500 – subject to pay award increase

Significant amount of days release to college with the remainder of the time spent on site working within the manufacturing engineering function of RBSL. When in the business the apprentice will spend time in various areas of the organisation to gain knowledge and understanding of how each of these area support the RBSL business. These placements will vary in length from 3 - 6 months, and will build upon the academic knowledge gained from the time  release to College where the apprentice will be studying for an Engineering qualification.

When in the business the apprentice will spend time in various areas of the organisation, to build upon the knowledge and understanding gained whilst studying  successful completion of the four-year apprenticeship apprentices will be eligible to apply for available vacancies within RBSL.WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE Qualifications

A minimum of 5 GCSE’s or equivalent at Grade 4 and above, must include English and Maths

A minimum of 3 A - Levels or equivalent - essential
