Your Mission
We are seeking a Health and Safety Specialist with a specific bias to Electrical Safety Management Systems to join our team in Telford. The role will require the candidate to continuously improve the awareness and standards of Health & Safety, ensure compliance with relevant regulations, and ensure alignment with relevant standards and Schneider Corporate Strategy.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Continuously improve the awareness and standards of Health & Safety in Schneider Electric Ltd with a bias to Electrical Safety Management Systems.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and align with relevant standards and Schneider Corporate Strategy.
- Ensure compliance with all appropriate industry requirements and align with the Electrical Networks Association Model Electrical Safety Rules.
- Bring a unified approach to Electrical Safety Management systems across all Schneider businesses.
About You
Essential
- NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health (or equivalent).
- Full Member of IOSH (MIOSH/RSP – Safety Practitioner) and/or Member of International Institute of Risk & Safety Management.
- Training and Assessment certification or accreditation – e.g., City & Guilds.
Desirable
- Registered Safety Practitioner.
- Diploma in Construction Health & Safety Management.
- Experience with DNO / Model Safety Rules.
- Experience operating at Senior Authorised Person level up to 33kV.
