We’re working closely with a well-established and inclusive secondary school in Shropshire. It’s a school with a real sense of community and a clear commitment to helping every student succeed.

The curriculum is broad and balanced across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage
4. Core subjects like English, Maths, Science and PE sit at the heart of learning, supported by a wide range of option subjects that allow students to explore their interests. Languages are also a key part of school life, with French taught from Year 7 and the opportunity to study German or Spanish from Year 8.

Learning here doesn’t stop when the bell rings. Extra-curricular activities are a real strength, with drama, music and sport all playing a big role alongside regular educational trips that bring lessons to life. Extended learning is genuinely valued, and you can see that in how engaged and enthusiastic the students are.

Pastoral care is another big priority. A dedicated pastoral team works closely with teaching staff and the SEN department to ensure pupils feel supported, included and ready to learn. As part of a wider trust, the school also benefits from strong partnerships with local primary and secondary schools, as well as close links with post-16 providers. This helps a high number of students move successfully into further education after Year 11.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
