Job Description & How to Apply Below
You will work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, pastoral teams, and external professionals to support pupils' academic progress as well as their social and emotional development. The role will involve implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies, building strong relationships with pupils to encourage engagement and confidence, and promoting positive behaviour through consistent and supportive approaches.
Applicants must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification and have experience working with pupils with SEMH needs, challenging behaviour, or within a specialist SEND or alternative provision setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong behaviour management skills, patience, empathy, and resilience, along with a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative school environment where staff are committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of their students.
