Teacher Active is proud to be working with a SEND school in Kings Norton, supporting with their recruitment for a Level 3 SEND Learning Support Assistant / LSA. The setting is centred on pupil s development, as well as an intrinsic desire to make progress both academically and with their own emotional, social and behavioural skills.

The school is seeking a passionate team player to take on this short-term role, although there is potential for this to become a long-term placement for the right Level 3 SEND Learning Support Assistant / SEND LSA. The successful Level 3 SEND Learning Support Assistant / LSA will bring a new dimension and skill set to this role, be keen to develop their own skills to adapt to the children s individual needs and have a positive impact on the wider school.

• Working with students across key stage 3 and 4 with diagnosis of Autism / ASD, Social Emotional and Mental Health/ SEMH, and challenging behaviours.
• A proactive thinker with the ability to take control of situations confidently is necessary.

• Experience working with children with additional needs
• Experience working with students with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) and challenging behaviours
• Level 3 CACHE or equivalent
• Team-Teach or MAPA qualifications desirable
