Aspire People are currently recruiting on behalf of a friendly and inclusive primary school in Telford for a dedicated Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed and adaptable TA who is confident working across all KS2 year groups and supporting a range of learning needs.

The Role

As a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support teaching and learning across all KS2 classes (Years 3-6)

Be willing to cover different classes as required

Deliver small group interventions and targeted support

Support pupils with additional needs, including SEN

Assist with classroom preparation and resource organisation

Promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning

Work closely with class teachers and senior leaders

This is a varied role suited to someone who thrives in a flexible environment and enjoys working with older primary pupils.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

Has recent experience working within Key Stage 2

Is confident supporting across multiple KS2 year groups

Has experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Demonstrates strong behaviour management skills

Is proactive, reliable, and adaptable

Builds positive relationships with pupils and staff

Qualifications are desirable but not essential.
We will consider candidates without formal qualifications if they have relevant, proven experience working within a KS2 setting.
