About the Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring students remain on task with pre-set work. This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or candidates with experience working with young people in sport, youth work, or other education settings.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials to secondary classes

* Manage classroom behaviour effectively

* Support students with their learning and ensure a positive environment

* Maintain accurate records of lesson progress and behaviour

* Work collaboratively with school staff and follow safeguarding procedures

Requirements

* Experience working with young people (formal or informal)

* Strong communication and classroom management skills

* Ability to engage and motivate learners

* A positive, proactive, and reliable attitude

* A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
