Teaching Assistant - William Brookes School

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our school team. The successful candidate will support teaching and learning, work closely with teachers to deliver engaging lessons, provide targeted support to pupils, and contribute to the wider school community. Strong communication skills and the ability to support learning and behaviour, especially among secondary age students, are preferred qualifications.
Key Responsibilities- Support teachers in planning and delivering lessons.
- Provide targeted support to pupils to promote learning and good behaviour.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of a positive and caring classroom environment.
- Collaborate with school staff to contribute to the wider school community.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience or interest in supporting secondary age students.
- Ability to support learning and behaviour management.
- Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of children.

- Competitive salary: £25,583 – £25,989 per annum (Pro Rata £16,467 – £16,728).
- Regular pay of 28 hours per week, term time plus two PD days, permanent.
