Key Details After school Club Assistant
Hours:
11.5 hours per week, term time only
Monday–Thursday: 3.00pm – 5.30pm
Friday: 3.00pm – 4.30pm
Salary:
Scale 1, SCP 2-3, £12.65 per hour
Contract:
Term time only
- Helping to set up and run a mix of play opportunities and activities.
- Preparing simple, healthy snacks for the children.
- Supporting behaviour in a fair and positive way.
- Building good relationships with children and their families.
- Making sure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.

We’re looking for someone who:- Is confident communicating with children, parents and colleagues.
- A team player who’s happy to get involved and use their initiative.
- Enjoys being around children and helping them thrive.

- Is reliable, punctual and able to maintain confidentiality.
This is a customer‑facing role, so a good standard of spoken English is required.
