DeGeest is seeking a Robotic Weld Operator/Technician to support and operate robotic welding systems while ensuring high-quality, precise tack welds on metal components. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product strength, accuracy, and consistency in our manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate robotic tack welding equipment
• Load, unload, and align work pieces in robotic welding fixtures
• Prepare materials by cleaning, cutting, grinding, and fitting steel components
• Inspect and repair welds to ensure quality and consistency
• Monitor weld quality and adjust parameters as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
• Assist with troubleshooting equipment and process improvements

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of welding, fabrication, or related manufacturing experience
• Experience working with robotic or automated welding systems preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specifications
• Ability to communicate clearly and work well in a team environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and lifting
• Regular handling of materials up to 40+ lbs
• Work in environments with loud noise, moving machinery, heat, fumes, and varying temperatures
• Ability to safely use hand tools, grinders, and welding equipment

Pay:
Hiring Salary Range: $28.00-$32.00/hour Depending on Experience

Note: The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. This position is eligible for a bonus.
