We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant for a locum tenens assignment in South Dakota. This opportunity begins on Feb 7, 2026, with a 7-day contract featuring 24-hour shifts. The provider will serve as the sole clinician in the emergency department, rounding on patients and stabilizing them for transfer.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Serve as the sole provider in the emergency department
• Round on patients in the ED
• Stabilize patients for transfer as needed

Additional Information

• South Dakota license required
• Preferred experience in rural emergency departments and as a sole provider
• Required board certifications:
  Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Urgent Care
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
