Responsibilities- Prepare and submit treatment and educational outlines, lectures, handouts, and other materials.
- Maintain records and daily clinical charting as required.
- Conduct substance‑abuse and life‑skills assessments and integrate results into client treatment plans.
- Participate in all training and supervision activities.
- Schedule, report, and provide other program information to management or clients.
- Assess client aftercare needs in conjunction with TASC or re‑entry processes.
- Provide counseling to residents’ families or significant others as requested.
- Coordinate individual clinical care for assigned caseload.
- Participate in treatment planning and conferences.
- Observe and supervise resident interactions.
- Provide individual and group therapy or counseling; meet with assigned residents as necessary.
- Maintain and update residents’ records and program charts.
- Perform ASI assessments and other required instruments.
- Assist client staff in monitoring offender behavior and developing intervention plans.
- Obtain a CADC or reciprocal credential within two (2) years of employment.
- Work as a team member with treatment staff and ancillary personnel.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High‑school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in a social or human services field preferred.
- Certification in Alcohol & Drug Counseling within two (2) years of employment.
- Preferred experience in a correctional setting.
- Experience providing human service functions is preferred.
The role requires lifting or carrying up to 20 lbs frequently; occasional lifting up to 40 lbs. Candidates must be able to bend, stoop, walk, and stand 31–60% of the time.
