Job Title:
TGCM Site Services Technician III
The TGCM Technician Level III serves as the technical anchor for gas and chemical operations. You are responsible for the commissioning, start-up, and high-level maintenance of critical delivery systems. This role requires the ability to work with minimal supervision, manage inventory to prevent production run‑outs, and lead emergency response efforts.
Essential Functions- System Commissioning & Projects:
Lead the installation and start-up of new gas cabinets, chemical dispense modules, and bulk delivery systems. - Advanced Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and repair complex hardware and software faults that lower-tier technicians cannot resolve, including PLC and control system issues. - SOP Development:
Write and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to ensure compliance with site standards. - Operational Oversight:
Manage day-to-day operations, coordinate subcontractors, and serve as the primary technical interface for the customer. - Inventory & Logistics:
Ensure proper inventory management and oversee the safe transfer of bulk materials and hazardous waste. - Mentorship:
Provide on-the-job training and safety guidance to Level I and II technicians.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Complies with all policies and standards.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of related experience in gas/chemical management or semiconductor facilities or equivalent experience/knowledge as determined by management.
High School Diploma or GED required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Chemistry, Applied Science) is highly preferred.
Technical Mastery- Expertise in reading complex P&IDs, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting with multimeters and specialized analytical equipment.
- Strong knowledge of hazardous material handling, chemical compatibility, and OSHA regulations.
Ability to work on your feet for 8–10 hours and walk up to 5 miles per shift.
Advanced Competencies- Control Systems – Ability to program, test, and tune system databases and control devices.
- Safety Leadership – Lead safety analyses (JHA), incident investigations, and Emergency Response Teams (ERT).
- Quality Control – Interpret lab data from chemical samples to determine if products meet strict specifications.
Minimum of 5 years of related experience in gas/chemical management or semiconductor facilities or equivalent experience/knowledge as determined by management (preferred).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Shift Work:
May require compressed work weeks (12-hour shifts) or rotating schedules. Day & Night Shift available. - Environment:
Includes work in both outdoor loading docks and indoor ISO-certified cleanroom environments.
