- Assess clients’ condition during every visit and trackany observations
- Take and record measurements of vital signs such asblood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.
- Administer medication as prescribed by the client’sphysician
- Dress or redress open wounds and assess progress of healing
- Continuously educate clients, their families andother caretakers on proper home health care strategies and procedures
- Provide palliative care as needed to keep the client comfortable
- Make recommendations for devices or tools thatmight improve the client’s quality of life
- Listen to clients and be prepared to respond to concerns or requests
- Degree in nursing
- Current nursing license in the state
- Current CPR (American Heart Association)
Certification - Must know Kinnser
- Access to reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and with directions
- Compassionate and friendly demeanor
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook andWord to document and track client care activity
