As a Production Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in driving safe, efficient, and high‑quality production on our shop floor. You’ll guide and motivate your team, maintain positive labor relations in a union environment, and keep production moving by solving problems, removing obstacles, and setting the tone for success. You’ll also:
- Lead daily operations, ensuring KPIs, quality standards, and production goals are consistently met.
- Champion a safe, respectful, and collaborative work environment by leading with integrity and open communication.
- Build strong relationships with team members, area coordinators, UAW representatives, and leadership to overcome challenges and celebrate wins.
- Support your team’s growth by onboarding, training, and coaching employees, and by setting clear performance expectations.
- Monitor and maintain equipment, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with other departments to optimize processes.
We’re seeking a leader who thrives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and is committed to fostering teamwork and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will bring:
- A High School Diploma or GED (college degree preferred).
- 5+ years of manufacturing supervisory experience (union environment experience strongly preferred).
- Strong problem‑solving skills (Ishikawa, fishbone, and other tools).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Paycor, ERP systems, and time/attendance systems.
- A proven track record in conflict resolution, adapting to change, and leading teams to achieve ambitious goals.
