Overview
Need in the Southeast Michigan area of Metro Detroit counties. Advisa Care Home Health and Hospice is seeking Hospice Volunteers to assist patients and families at the end of life. Volunteers are needed and play a vital role within the hospice team, ranging from engagement of patients and families to clerical and office support.
Responsibilities- One-on-one visits with patients and their families.
- Help in the office to support nursing and care staff.
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during end-of-life journeys.
- Criminal Background Check (Fingerprints)
- Drug Test
- TB Test
- Volunteer Orientation (In Person or Online)
