Casual Position About Corewell Health Taylor Hospital

Corwell Health Taylor Hospital is a 148-bed hospital that is a recognized health care leader in the metro Detroit area. Proudly serving Taylor and surrounding communities since 1977, it offers specialty services including 24-hour emergency care, wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy, a surgical pavilion, a pain management clinic, orthopedic surgery, inpatient rehabilitation facility and full-service radiology, including advanced CT with cardiac scoring, fixed MRI including pacemaker, cinema vision and ultrasound (MSK & elastography).

Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures performs diagnostic MR exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment and techniques. Follows Beaumont philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.

• Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
• 1-3 years clinical experience beyond staff radiographer level.
• Certification by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, RT (R) (MR). Additional MR certification required within 1 year of hire. Must remain in good standing with the ARRT. Technologists working in their modality before 2008 are exempt from additional modality certification.
• Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers at hire through the American Heart Association.
• CRT-Radiation Therapist - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire Required Or.
