As a Medical Assistant with Corewell Health, you will be a member of the clinical support team working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure delivery of high-quality care. Under the direction of management and physician leadership, you will perform and oversee functions within scope of practice related to clinical activities, including but not limited to maintaining patient flow, assisting and promoting the delivery of health care, performing technical procedures, and clinically oriented activities.

You will assist management in achieving office efficiencies according to policies and procedures to support physicians, clinical staff and management and promote customer satisfaction.

• Required High School Diploma or equivalent
• Required Successful completion of a competency-based Medical Assistant training program. May also have LPN, EMT, ER Tech, paramedic certification and relevant experience
• May consider a nursing student from an accredited registered or licensed practical nurse program after a clinical course of study has begun. Preferred
• Preferred 1 year of relevant experience in a physician practice or healthcare setting
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association within 30 days Required Or
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross within 30 days Required
