Overview

A great UHY client is seeking a Controller to join their team. The ideal candidate will be a full-scope Controller with job costing and cost accounting experience. Experience using Plex software is required. The Controller role is an onsite position. This is a client direct hire role.

• Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, job costing, cost accounting, and financial reporting
• Manage monthly close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements
• Prepare and analyze Work in Progress (WIP) and percentage-of-completion reports
• Maintain inventory accounting, standard costing, and variance analysis
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and job cost reviews with operations leadership
• Monitor Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and cash-related activities
• Support annual audits and ensure GAAP compliance
• Provide financial analysis and Plex system support to leadership
• Maintain internal controls and safeguard financial data
• Assist with special projects as needed

• Strong job costing and cost accounting background
• Required experience with Plex ERP
• Solid understanding of GAAP
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• High level of integrity and attention to detail
