Teaching Assistant

Full‑Time Teaching Assistant – SEN 1:1 Support Tavistock Area | EYFS/KS1 & Year 3 | ASAP Start

We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Full‑Time Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Tavistock area. This is a permanent role supporting pupils on a 1:1 SEN basis across different year groups.

About the Role

Full‑time position (Monday–Friday)

Mon & Tues: 1‑1 support in EYFS/KS1

Wed–Fri: 1‑1 support in Year 3

Working closely with class teachers and the SEN team

Start date:

ASAP

Supporting learning, communication, emotional regulation and daily routines

What We’re Looking For

Experience working with children with SEN (essential)

A patient, nurturing and proactive approach

Someone reliable, committed and confident supporting 1‑1

A DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to complete a new one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
