Environment, Health and Safety Manager

A well-established chemical manufacturing facility is seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Manager to lead safety and environmental programs in a highly regulated OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) environment.

This onsite leadership role supports large-scale chemical and laboratory operations running on a 24/5 schedule and requires a hands-on, visible leader who can embed process safety into daily operations while building a strong, behavior-based safety culture.

• Own and drive OSHA PSM compliance across all chemical processes
• Lead PHAs, MOC, and PSSRs in partnership with engineering and operations
• Implement and sustain Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) programs
• Identify and mitigate operational risks with a goal of zero incidents
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, state environmental agencies, DOT, and DHS
• Lead environmental programs including Air, Water, NPDES, LDAR, RCRA, SARA, and Title V
• Oversee ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems, audits, and training
• Lead incident investigations and drive continuous improvement

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Environmental, or Safety Engineering (or equivalent)
• 10+ years of HSE experience in chemical or process manufacturing
• Proven leadership of OSHA PSM programs (required)
• Strong track record building BBS programs and safety culture
• Working knowledge of PSM, PHA, HAZOP, EPA, OSHA, RCRA, NFPA
• Confident, visible leader who thrives on the manufacturing floor
