Driving Labourer Industry: Building and Construction

ASAP Pay Rate: £13.69-£16.50 per hour

Monday-Friday, 07:30-17:00 Base

Location:

Taunton A Driving Labourer is required to support a roofing contractor working across residential sites from Taunton to Nailsea.

This is an ongoing role offering consistent hours and long‑term potential for the right candidate.

About the Role You will be travelling between different sites each day, supporting the roofing team with general labouring duties.

The role includes maintaining site cleanliness, assisting trades, moving materials, and helping with day‑to‑day tasks.

As this is a roofing contractor, you must be comfortable working at height and happy to go onto roofs when required.

This position requires your own transport, as you will be driving between sites.

Parking is available at all locations.

Once your assignment is completed, and we receive a positive finishing reference, Daniel Owen will work to secure your next long‑term placement.

• Travelling between sites from Taunton to Nailsea
• Supporting roofers and assisting with tasks at height
• Keeping work areas clean, tidy, and safe
• Moving and handling materials
• Assisting trades and the site team with daily duties

• Previous experience as a Driving Labourer with references
• Comfortable working at height and going onto roofs
• Full PPE
• Ability to carry out physical, manual labour
• Valid CSCS card
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicl
