Job Summary

O'Neill and Brennan are seeking an experienced Plasterer with strong skills in internal plastering, external rendering, and bead installation to join a site team in and around Taunton. The successful candidate will consistently deliver high-quality finishes, work safely to site specifications, and support overall project productivity.

Key Responsibilities

Apply internal plaster to walls and ceilings, creating smooth, ready-to-decorate surfaces

Carry out external rendering including traditional and modern render systems

Accurately install beading (stop beads, movement joints, corner beads, shadow beads) to specification

Mix, prepare and apply plaster and render materials to the correct consistency

Work from drawings, specifications, and instructions to achieve quality finishes

Maintain clean, tidy, and safe working areas at all times

Accurately set out and measure work to ensure straight lines, level finishes, and symmetry

Requirements

Proven experience as a Plasterer / Renderer

Strong beading installation skills

Ability to work to high standards with excellent attention to detail

CSCS card preferred (or equivalent)

Good understanding of health & safety practices

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable

Experience with different render systems (e.g., monocouche, traditional sand & cement, silicone)

Experience in new build or commercial sites

Time management and organisational skills
