Job Description

O'Neill and Brennan are looking for a reliable and hardworking Ground workers to support general groundworks, drainage, and site preparation tasks on construction projects in the Taunton area.

Key Responsibilities

Undertake general groundworks duties, including:

Excavation and trench digging

Setting out works and assisting with levels

Installing drainage systems and pipework

Concrete, screeding, and blinding work

Assisting with kerbing, paving, and slab laying

Help prepare and maintain site areas, keeping them tidy and compliant with safety standards

Support plant operators and skilled trades on site

Follow risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), and health & safety guidelines

Use basic tools and equipment in a safe and competent manner

Requirements

Previous groundworks experience preferred

CSCS card or equivalent (labourer/ground worker)

Strong work ethic and reliable attendance

Good understanding of site health & safety
