Mobile Vehicle Mechanic

Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional service with the utmost professionalism. We're looking for a skilled and reliable Mobile Mechanic to join our growing team on a part-time basis. You will be covering an area of a 30 mile radius of Taunton.

As a Part-Time Mobile Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles at the customer's preferred location. Your role will involve removing faulty modules to be fixed and expertly refitting repaired ones, ensuring vehicles are restored to peak performance. You’ll work independently while also collaborating closely with our skilled auto electricians to provide comprehensive care for our customers' vehicles, addressing mechanical challenges with precision and professionalism.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, including engine, transmission, and electrical problems.
• Remove faulty modules and refit repaired ones, ensuring optimal vehicle performance.
• Work alongside our auto electricians to troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical and mechanical issues.
• Provide exceptional customer service, communicating clearly with clients about their vehicle's condition and required repairs.
• Accurately complete and submit all necessary paperwork and reports.

• Proven experience as an automotive mechanic; mobile mechanic experience is a plus.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Own tools and reliable vehicle equipped to transport tools and parts.
• Fluent in the English language.
