Lloyd & Whyte, part of Benefact Group, seeks experienced Business Development Executives for our Community Broking division across the South West offices.
Since 2021 we have grown by acquiring independent brokers, strengthening our presence across 6 branches, and maintaining a 2
* employer rating and excellent Trustpilot reviews.
Our mission: bring insurance back to its roots, adding value through specialist risk management, expert advice, and client‑first service.
We’re looking for ambitious, driven professionals to build a book of clients, lead relationships, meet sales and renewal targets, and unlock new business opportunities.
Responsibilities- Drive sales & growth: achieve targets through proactive prospecting, outbound campaigns, and strategic client engagement.
- Client relationship management: build and maintain strong relationships via review meetings, mid‑term visits, and tailored advice.
- Operational excellence: manage leads, meetings and income generation through effective diary systems, activity tracking and SMART time/resource planning.
- Collaborative & professional representation: partner with colleagues to maximise commercial opportunities and represent Lloyd & Whyte at external events and industry forums.
- Expert knowledge of the UK commercial insurance industry, specifically in a new‑business focused role.
- Commercial acumen with a track record of delivering profitable growth.
- Cert CII qualification (or qualified by experience).
- Diploma in insurance (or willingness to work towards one).
