Veterinary Surgeon

We have an excellent opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join the growing team at a first opinion small animal practice in the Taunton area of Somerset.

• Full time including 1 in 4 weekends on a rota and no OOH. (part time hours may be considered)
• Practice is modern, equipped to a high standard and includes 3 consult rooms, theatre, cat and dog isolation wards etc.
• Caseload is varied with a good mix of surgical and medical cases and a growing local client base.

• Ideally you will already be confident in small animal medicine and surgery and able to work some sole charge
• Generous CPD allowance including funding towards certificates
• Somerset is a stunning county in the sought after South West of England and Taunton is the county town with easy access to the M5 motorways and surrounded by countryside with coast nearby.

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
• Registered with the RCVS
• Experienced vet with a broad range of GP skills.
• Comfortable with some sole charge

• Salary to £65,000.00 per annum (subject to experience)
