This is a strategic role where you'll have genuine influence - from developing quality strategies and managing budgets, to implementing health & safety policies and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

  • Maintain and audit business management systems (AS9100, ISO 13485, ISO 9001)
  • Act as primary customer contact for all quality matters
  • Drive health & safety culture and manage the H&S management system

  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Coordinate internal and external audits
  • Manage contractor permits and site safety inspections

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Extensive experience managing compliance in a fast-paced AS9100 aerospace and/or ISO 13485 medical manufacturing environment
  • Proven quality engineering/management background
  • Strong knowledge of quality tools: SPC, PFMEA, PPAP, 8D, Lean Manufacturing
  • Experience writing and implementing policies and procedures
  • Understanding of H&S practices in manufacturing environments
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • NEBOSH Level 5 NVQ (or willingness to work towards - training provided)
  • Quality management qualifications
  • Six Sigma knowledge

WHAT'S ON

OFFER:

  • Competitive salary up to £47,000
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Company pension scheme
  • Life assurance
  • Training and development opportunities including NEBOSH qualifications
  • Career progression within a growing organization

THE PERSON:

You'll be a proactive leader with a 'can-do' attitude who thrives on driving continuous improvement. You'll have the ability to work under pressure, make decisions confidently, and build strong relationships at all levels. A flexible approach and willingness to go the extra mile will be key to your success.
