Salary: £60,000 to £75,000 (depending on experience)
Chadwick Nott are happy to be working with a nationally recognised law firm in their search for an Associate to join their Commercial Property team in Taunton. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a broad range of property matters within one of the UK's largest and most respected real estate divisions.
The RoleThis role offers a varied and engaging caseload across the full spectrum of commercial property work.
Responsibilities include:
- Advising clients on acquisitions, disposals, asset management, and development projects
- Working across sectors including retail, leisure, telecoms, banking, green energy, and social housing
- Collaborating with partners and senior lawyers across national offices
- Mentoring and supervising junior solicitors, trainees, and paralegals
- Building and nurturing client relationships
- Contributing to business development and sector engagement
- Ensuring compliance with firm policies and information security standards
This role is suited to a commercial property lawyer with:
- 3+ years PQE gained at a leading property practice
- Strong academic background and technical expertise
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- A collaborative and proactive approach to team work
- Enthusiasm for career development and mentoring others
- Commercial awareness and client-focused mindset
- A genuine interest in contributing to a fast-paced, growing division
- This role supports hybrid working, with attendance at the Taunton office at least twice a week.
