** What you’ll be doing
** In this varied position, you’ll play a key part in keeping our finance operations running smoothly, including:
* Processing financial transactions accurately using Sage Pro 200
* Producing Debtors reports in Sage and Excel, and working closely with Heads of Department and Fee Earners to ensure timely collection of aged debts
* Taking ownership of the credit control cycle and driving successful debt recovery
* Liaising with Solicitors/Money Claim services when formal recovery action is required
* Creating detailed Excel-based reports to support the Head of Finance with data analysis and decision‑making
* Completing daily bank reconciliations on Sage
* Handling incoming calls professionally and directing queries to the right colleagues
* Providing support to the wider finance team whenever needed

** Essential Experience & Skills
*** At least 3 years’ experience in a busy, multi‑disciplined finance or accounts office
* Previous use of accounting software (Sage experience is ideal, but training can be provided)
* Strong Microsoft skills, especially intermediate Excel
* A genuine willingness to learn and develop within a growing team
