Are you passionate about regulatory excellence and confident navigating FCA and PRA requirements? We’re looking for a proactive and detail‑driven Conduct and Prudential Compliance Specialist to join our team and help ensure that WPA remains fully compliant, informed, and prepared in an ever‑evolving regulatory landscape.
Salary is negotiable based on experience and within a range of circa £37k to £45k.You will also be eligible for an annual non-contractual bonus, generous pension scheme, annual leave plus bank holidays off and a comprehensive healthcare plan from day one of employment.
Full time (37 hours per week, Monday to Friday) but for the right candidate, flexible hours and hybrid working can be considered. Please note this role is office based in Taunton, Somerset and successful candidates would be required to be in office a minimum of three days per week.

The roleYou will be joining our Compliance Team at a time when the world of financial regulation is constantly evolving and has been going through a period of fundamental change. This is exciting timing because you will have the opportunity to work in a fast‑paced environment alongside senior management on a wide range of compliance and regulatory matters, ensuring that the entire WPA Group and its sales representatives are compliant with all Financial Conduct Authority and Prudential Regulatory Authority regulation and expectations.
You will be responsible for implementing and communicating regulatory changes which impact our business as well as undertaking regular regulatory training. You will also assist with the compliance monitoring plan including carrying out financial crime checks.
About youYou will have proven experience of working in a regulatory environment, working collaboratively, and influencing stakeholders at all levels within a regulated financial services environment. Strong knowledge of FCA and PRA regulation including Consumer Duty, Solvency II and IDD. You will be comfortable understanding, interpreting, and communicating complex regulation in a way that is engaging and can be understood by a variety of stakeholders.
You will have sound judgement; problem solving skills and can balance regulatory compliance with commercial awareness to deliver good outcomes for the business and its customers. A relevant academic or professional qualification, would be beneficial.
