Location:
Taunton
Salary: GBP 80,000 plus increasing holidays (up to 25 days) + bank holidays + free parking + sick pay + career development opportunities
Hours:
37.5 hours per week;
Monday to Thursday 08:30–17:00, Friday 08:30–14:00
This role offers scope to develop into a director level role in the future.
Responsibilities- Oversee the engineering team, design, compliance, controls, and commissioning
- Ensure machinery is designed to high quality and safety standards
- Identify new and advanced technologies for customer solutions
- Liaise with customers to understand their requirements
- Be the key point of contact to customers during services, installation, commissioning and general aftersales support
- Oversee compilation of technical documentation, including risk assessments and conformance
- Experienced engineer: degree qualified (or equivalent)
- Experience in a senior leadership role
- Understanding of design process of machinery or capital equipment
