Everything you do matters. From the moment you open the door and enter one of our services you become something more than you once were. Walking through the door at Cambian means having a direct impact on the futures of the young people in our care. Our homes accommodate young people aged 8–18 from a variety of backgrounds and with varying levels of social, emotional and mental health needs.
Our aim is to create the best possible outcomes for them to allow every single one of them to reach their full potential.
The days can be long, but you will make a genuine difference to our young people on a daily basis, ensuring minimum interruption to their lives and filling their days with meaningful interactions other people may take for granted.
You will help with daily routines such as getting young people ready for the day, supporting school or activities, maintaining a home-like environment, and assisting with homework, meals, and recreational activities. Evenings and weekends typically involve fun and outings such as games or movies.
There is paperwork and planning involved, but the work is meaningful and varied.
