Accounts and Audit Semi Senior

A growing chartered accountancy practice based in Taunton is searching for an Accounts and Audit Semi Senior to join their team in a role offering study support, increasing responsibility and career progression.

Based in Taunton the firm acts for a wide spectrum of clients across very varied industries, sectors and turnovers. Alongside a proportion of smaller sole traders partnerships and limited companies, the firm also acts for a significant number of larger OMBs, SMEs, not for profit, charity and larger corporates, groups and subsidiaries with audit requirement. The firm is of a medium size with long serving managerial professionals supporting Directors/Partners.

Joining their Taunton offices as an Accounts and Audit Semi Senior you will be prepare year end accounts preparation, tax, VAT and assist on the delivery of audit services for wide ranging clients. You will be developed and encouraged to progress technically within this environment and the role offers an excellent opportunity for the right professional looking to further their career in the profession.

For this Accounts and Audit Semi Senior role you will be any of: studying AAT at around level 3 or 4, or qualified AAT, or studying ACCA/ACA with a background working within accountancy practice preparing year end accounts, tax and ideally with some audit experience, or bring an interest to develop experience on that side. You will have anything from two years or more, accountancy practice experience across any mix of: audit /accounts/tax etc and be looking to further your career within the profession with increasing responsibility and progression on offer as you carve a key position within this successful team and department.

Circa £26,000 - £30,000 + dependent on experience, background and level of the right professional, plus benefits
