Personal Tax Senior

A highly regarded accountancy practice based in Taunton is searching for an experienced, Personal Tax Senior to join their team in a role and firm providing progression and career development potential.

The firm is a leading accountancy practice, across Somerset and further afield, with an excellent reputation and wide ranging client base. Joining as a Personal Tax Senior you will be part of an established team of tax professionals and the firm provides an environment, developing staff, with structured routes to develop and progress careers. Joining a highly regarded tax team, as a Personal Tax Senior you will take on the management of a portfolio of clients, potentially up to around 250 clients, across a range of HNWIs, company directors and other wide ranging cases, acting as the main point of contact, developing relationships and delivering a quality compliance service across self assessment, P11d's etc. You will prepare tax returns for individuals and review more junior staff work, providing guidance and support to their development.

Whilst the role has a compliance focus, there will be increasing opportunity for involvement in planning and advisory project work and the opportunity for career development and progression is on offer for career focused, tax professionals.

• Qualified ATT and/or CTA, or studying for ATT/CTA, or with significant experience in personal tax compliance, gained within an accountancy practice environment as a Personal Tax Senior or similar level professional.
• Experience in delivering personal tax services to varied clients, looking to further your tax career, within a highly successful Taunton firm where you can progress and develop in your tax career.

• Salary:
  Circa £30,000 - £40,000 plus dependent on the background, level and experience of the right professional, plus benefits.
