Accountant, Tax Accountant, Accounting Manager

PEACE ACCOUNTANCY LIMITED is a reputable accounting firm based in the centre of the market town of Taunton, Somerset. The company provides expert accounting, taxation and financial services to a diverse range of clients. We are a rapidly growing firm and are seeking new staff with a forward thinking and entrepreneurial mindset to bring new ideas and take an active role in our expansion.

This is a full-time, on-site role as an Accountant at our Taunton office. The Accountant will be responsible for managing the accounts and tax compliance for a portfolio of varied clients. Attention to detail and effective communication will be integral to success in what is a progressive role for the right candidate.

• Strong accounting skills, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Proficiency in using accounting software and tools
• Understanding of tax laws and compliance
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and team members
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACA/ACCA is preferred, but finding the right person is our top priority and we would be open to offer training for such a candidate.
• Prior experience in accounting or finance roles is highly desirable
