Our client is one of the most respected independent firms of Chartered Accountants in the Taunton/Somerset area. Due to recent expansion, numerous client wins and succession planning; they are currently recruiting for a Senior Manager. This is an incredibly rare opening in the local marketplace. The opportunity offers the individual the chance to progress to Directorship at a nationally recognised firm.

This position represents significant commercial focus & plays a central role for our client; the successful candidate will be given a huge amount of responsibility & autonomy to expand/develop the firm's Accounts & Business Advisory presence within the local area.

The focus of this role is quite generic; audit, accounts, financial reporting, OMB/SME business advisory and tax planning.

Business contacts are not a prerequisite, but being technically proficient & commercially minded is crucial to this position.

This Taunton office is commutable from areas all across Somerset, Wellington, Tiverton, Bridgwater, Langport etc.

• ACA/ACCA qualified
• Ideally RI (Responsible Individual)
• Proven high level audit experience working with OMBs and SMEs
• Proven track record in business development and maintaining client relationships
