- Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure clear and consistent information exchange.
- Develops, discusses, and communicates individualized goals for each patient in collaboration with the patient, family, and significant others to address cardiac pulmonary needs.
- Implements medical plans of care, nursing interventions, and procedures using necessary skills and judgment for patient care.
- Evaluates patient progress, reassesses care provided, and responds to patient and family needs to ensure overall quality of care.
- Maintains up-to-date and accurate documentation of nursing care to integrate information for use by the healthcare team and ensure quality care.
- Associate's of Nursing (Required)
- Bachelor's of Nursing
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS) – RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement
- Basic Life Support – CPR Certificate (BLS) – RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement
- Registered Nurse (RN) – EV Accredited Issuing Body
